Broken Allegiance

inMixed media on canvas, 36” x 36” x 1.5”. Inspired by the thought of a funky little pile of paint splattered American flags, the memory of my school classmates and I reciting the pledge of allegiance, and my concern. Every morning we all stood and put our hands over our hearts while facing the flag. I hope the children still do that, not sure. The country is going through some major changes and they are not all for the better. The picture has a lot going on, I hope the viewer can put it all together. This painting is gallery-wrapped and ready to hang. Note: it is wired to hang in the standard square format OR the more unique rhombus format. The choice is yours. Contact artist for info and thanks for lookin’!

inAcrylics on canvas, 36” x 36”. Since the country’s founding long ago, Lady Justice has always been blindfolded… until now! All US citizens, regardless of which side of the fence you’re on, should be alarmed by this. Politics has no place in the US justice procedure and should be removed before it does irreparable harm to the “equal justice for all” system our country was built on. Those that choose to bring legal charges which are motivated by their partisan beliefs, be it the DOJ, FBI, or anyone else, should be harshly and swiftly dealt with by the court. This expressionist painting is gallery-wrapped and ready to hang.

inAcrylics on canvas, 36” x 36”, gallery-wrapped. I don’t really need to explain this expressionistic painting, it speaks for itself. You may have to study it for a second but I think it will eventually reveal itself. I wish I wasn’t driven to paint matters such as this but it is far too important to the future of our country for me to just let it go. The title says it all. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Thanks for lookin’ and pondering the work.

inMixed media, 23” x 52” on wood panel, no frame, floats off the wall 1.5”. I tend to paint what is concerning me at the time and this is no exception – it’s not always about a pretty picture. We have major issues in our country and we must not stick our heads in the sand. It’s now evident that we have lots of, so-called, Americans that strive to divide us in order to destroy the USA. The country I grew up in and love. Instead of segregating everyone into groups depending on race, gender, personal opinions, etc, (that’s what communists do), we should remember that this country is a melting pot and we’re ALL in this together – we are strongest with numbers. That’s the inspiration for this expressionist painting. Thanks for lookin’!
